, post: 2660191, member: 573972"] Chuck Norris. His comps do 170dB off the deck. Built himself, of course. lol --- Jokes aside, my first install was actually at Checker's parking lot. Eclipse 6124 going into an MTX202. Friend told me "You're gonna want 2 subs sooner or later." He was right. Next was in the garage. Replaced stock speakers with some pioneers, 5.25" rear and 4" front, both pairs for under $50 total on eBay. For $50, they at least work. Then moved up to 2 10" type-r's for the lows. Absolutely loved them. After i ripped both cones, I pretty much went through different dual 10"/single 12" subwoofer setups. Never touched my midspeakers up to now. But after reading through this site, I've got a better idea on how to upgrade them, what to choose from, and how/where I should install them. Never worked with crossovers before so my next upgrade should be a sweet addition to my knowledge of all things car audio.
