Message: <blockquote data-quote="muzikluvr" data-source="post: 5411704" data-attributes="member: 605716"><p>they are wired parallel to draw a 2ohm load in which the amp is rated for 300wrms.  the fuse near the battery blew as well.  it was a 30amp and I just picked up a new pack of 40's (which was in there previously).  The odd thing is that the leds were still working but the hifonics logo on the front of the amp went out.  Once I replaced the fuse under the hood, the hifonics led logo came back on along with a little more smell, and the light on the remote level adjustment knob came back on as well.  there was a little more smell at that time but not today when I tried to turn on the amp today....  oh, and the 60amp mega fuse in the amp never blew...</p></blockquote><p></p>
