Just a quick search shows the K5's go for around $700 shipped or so. The AQ's will probably put out more power because they are starting at a lower impedance, but these 12's can only handle around 1000w daily before you start pushing them too much (at least how I use my subs lol). The K5 is a good bit more expensive but it's a much higher quality amp imo which is why I was considering it in the first place. I won't be getting anywhere near 5k out of the amp cause I'll be starting at 1 ohm nominal and it will also be a 12v system, I expect 3500-4000w out of the amp which will still be plenty. Plus I hear they are about as efficient as a DC 5k or a VFL500.1 so that's nice to hear they aren't huge power hogs.</p></blockquote><p></p>
