just got a new car and i need a new sub. I listen to rap mostly and i have a hifonics brutus amp that is 1000wts@ 2ohm and and 1500@1ohm. Because my car is a convertable i am LIMITED in space //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif so the box i have to work with is only .8cu on the inside and has 6.25 inches of mounting depth. I like power and want something that will handle 800watts RMS. i can spend upto $400 if i find what i like... but i am frustrated my my options.... the only thing that looks right on paper are MAaudio and audiobahn.

i have been searching for a while and just about to give up...any ideas???

fiberglass your own box and get you a mbquart. Wont handle that 800 rms but will sound good and get loud. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3170

Thanks for the replies... i wish i could get the orion h2 to fit!!! i have been looking at the slim profile 12" from pioneer, but i am worried about the 350rms, its 1400watts peak but i dunno if i will be putting too much power to it. If i knew the pioneer would take my punishment and have decent longevity i would get it in a heartbeat.

How would the MB quart compare to say an alpine 10" type R???
