Just wondering how you would figure what a sub could take be for it blow&#039;s and for how long you could keep it there ?&nbsp; Finaly I have heard all over the net and at many audio shop&#039;s that the only way to make a subwoofer go louder(once it&#039;s realy loud) is to double or tripple the Rms power to the sub. Also you could add more sub&#039;s( keeping the same Rms power as your other&#039;s,of course you would need more Rms power when dividing bewteen more speaker&#039;s) to make it louder. Is this right,I was told double your sub&#039;s to gain &quot;3 DB&#039;&quot;&nbsp; or double your power to gain &quot;3 db&#039;s.
