What would be louder, 2 12" L7 or 2 15" L5, what would you choose?

I have 1200 watts on my L7's and I wish I had 1200 more. Look into running two class D amps, or one 1500+amp. Just a suggestion. Guy at local kicker dealer runs 3 15'' L7's and has a Kicker KX 1200.1 on each sub. Those amps were bench tested at just about 1500 watts per amp and he runs that power RMS to the subs all the time. He's a puddin though and won't show up for competition. I dont know why.

[QUOTE="F150Matt, post: 78140, member: 543857"] If you want it to hit harder, yes go ported! If you have a good ported box, sound quality will be good too. Remember my 150 was in outlaw competition where the mic can go anywhere. I'm hoping that with my ported box i can break 150's on the dash. The guy at the competition that held the mic said that a 150 in outlaw with my system would have been like 142-145ish on the dash. With a ported box though I think 150's should be an easy goal to accomplish. Since u have the 15's I personnally would power them with more than 1200 watts.
