Did the factory head unit's display dim to a certain extent when you turned the headlights on? If so there will be a wire in the factory harness that controls that function and your new JVC is compatible (as are more current HUs out there nowadays) with this function. It'll (the orange wire) make the JVC's display dim when the headlights are activated like the OEM deck used to.</blockquote>
