[QUOTE="dlugolinski, post: 320658, member: 549217"] I have a rockford fosgate hu that plays mp3's rfd3...something like that. well anyways this thing vibrates and skips now here is what i have already tried oh yeah it is installed in a 98 ranger I used the back of the radio clamp this made it worse it would skip at volume 4 that sucked.... then the local car audio store man told me to hot glue the hu to the istall kit this lets it get up to volume 6-7 depending on the bass. then i took the install kit and screwed it to the plastic panel that it mounts in this helped but still volume 7 skips. I tried all together and it was worse...... I am very frustrated and want to just throw this thing. the owner of the shop were i bought it said he runs the same hu in his competition truck just like my ranger and it never skips he hit a 155 db....... what is wrong here any suggestions also my pioneer never skipped and the owner again said that the rf was just a more sensitive and "better" hu any suggestion please help......
