What The Hell Happened?

Hey guys! What's going on?

Alright, I just hand something happen to my speakers or something. I have no idea what happened, so I was hoping that maybe one of you know whats going on.

This morning I drove to my girlfriends house. System sounded fine. We went to a movie and dinner (she drove). Afterwards, I got in my car to drive home. I turned on my system, and everything sounded fine. I began to drive, and about a minute later, I start hearing this really loud buzzing sound. It was coming from my front left speaker. I turned down the volume, but the volume of the buzz stayed the same. I faded the output to the right, and the buzz was still there. The only time the buzzing stopped was when I turned to volume to 00. So I turned off the radio and continued driving. Every once in awhile, I would turn on the head unit and as soon as it powered up, the buzzing would start. However, after I pulled up my driveway (with the car still running), I turned on the head unit and the buzzing had stopped. This was about 15 minutes ago. I just went and turned on the head unit again, and there is no buzzing.

So what the hell happened

I would check your RCA connection.

check the rcas and check to make sure the front speaker terminals arent touching anything metal. i would check the ends of the rca to that speaker as well as the whole wire jacket to that rca if you didnt find anything else from your other checks

The only way she'd be driving my vehicle is if I was somehow incapitated or unconscious, and she needed to get me to the hospital...

on one channel? its either a bad channel in deck, amp or more than likely the rca or a speaker lead thats touching metal. bad grounds give you noise but from the whole unit. low voltage will also cause noise but very doubtful from 1 channel.

When I said she drove, I meant she drove her car. My car just stayed parked.

And I have been driving my car since the incident, and there has been no more buzzing. Its just wierd.
