For installations who are not looking for 800+ rms, I always always recommend to go with a fostgate series. I have had experience with all 3 of there mid-line stages, and honestly they just blow the other contenders out of the water in that range. I don't recommend them for spl or any craziness in that area. But I mean c'mon, 2 subs for 196.00, 500 watts rms @ 2 ohm load ...Can't really beat that... Lots of people go for the alpine type R's and they are nice as well but to expensive, like 210.00 a piece and your getting almost the same if not less quality with alpine over rockford. Theres just something about rockfords clean sound that I love... I'll post some vids of my next install.cheers folks</blockquote>
