I'm runnin an Alpine Mrd-m1005 which gives my 2 10" diamond audio d6's 500+rms each. The enclosure i have them in is the kicker dcvr10, which is actually a very similar box to the one diamond reccomends for my sub. I have tried all different settings, and it just seems to make it them sound worse... They seem to hit too low, and not catch the "higher" freq bass notes. I'm not talking like bass notes for a mid-bass, just in general it doesn't hit high enough bass notes. Because when i turn it loud on a low bass song the sub, you can tell the amp focusing too hard on the very very low notes....now my settings are 72hz low pass and .2 gain out of .1 gain.....and + 10 bass boost out of +16 and it goes down to 0 . I was thinkin to just lower bass boost a tad and to higher the low pass to about 85hz.... I know your askin "why is he using bass boost at all?" well its because im using a line out converter, and im not gettin a great signal as u can guess..... and no a head unit is not an option because no kits are made for my car so please dont suggest one haha... thanks top surface depth (Inch, centimeters)= 137/16, 34.1 bottom surface depth (in,cm)= 167/16 ,41.8 enclosure height (in,cm)= 14, 35.6 enclosure width (in,cm)= 28 1/2, 72.4 It is tuned to 40hz via a side firing circular port my subs are inverted into that box
