A lot of amps are horribly inefficient at sub 2 ohm loads. For instance my JP8 takes around 100 amps to make around 1100 - 1200 watts at 2 ohms but takes 160 amps to make 1300-1400 watts. Not worth the trade off. I'd look up amp dynos before you make your choice and pick the most efficient one.</blockquote>
