I'm not so sure if I understand all I know about that 4awg and 8awg and D block stuff. And the factory system (if that's what you wanna call it) was just the standard am/fm cassette delco that came in the truck. Can I get the D block and wire at wal-mart? This "project" has been ongoing for near 3 weeks now,and my frustration is building everytime I crank my truck. I'm gonna go out and eliminate each unit one at a time and see if I can pinpoint where the noise is coming from. Also, do you think I should ground my alternator with another ground other that the one it already has,thus having it grounded 2 times? Makes no sense to me,but I'm willing to try anything at this point.thanks,TysDad</blockquote>
