Some people think Pioneer heads sound just as good as Alpine heads, but they don't. This guy might be right, but I doubt it? So far, I've never been impressed with an under dog amp. That still doesn't mean I won't use the Rubicon in the future. I just can't see it competing with the old SS. I'm not looking for the perfect amp, but being as good as the old stuff are big shoes to fill. If it even comes close to the AQ that's good enough for me because of the low SS prices.</p></blockquote><p></p>
