OOOK fine this is how it works They have so many lines because of yes... the different build houses, and because of their targeting THIS IS HOW THE LINES GO IN sq QUALITY 1. Human Reign (not being made anymore) Reference 2. Rubicon 3. Tarantula, Dtower, Stealth 4. Picasso, XXX NOW I DON'T KNOW WHY I NEED TO KEEP REPEATING THIS! All Soundstream series amps do rated, NONE OF THEM SHARE POWER ACOUSTIK build houses at all, Even the Picasso series does rated and is actually a pretty solid line, and it's the entry level series. Yes, it is true that some of the amps share the same or similar buildhouses as other Epsilon companies,...but you do need to realize the only OTHER one that SS shares with is Precision Power, which is currently being overhauled with all new products which the quality the PPI name brings. Now, the reason why they have so many lines is because each line caters to a different market, XXX being the competition, the stealth and dtower for space saving, tarantula for the "go to" series etc. As for sharing buildhouses with other manufacturers, All Series have their own boards which no other manufacturer uses, EXCEPT for the XXX-line. Here's to better explain what Epsilon is. Epsilon owns the following brands: Soundstream PPI Power Acoustik Fahrenheit SPL The money makers of Epsilon are Power Acoustik, Fahrenheit, and SPL because they are for the mainstream market. PPI and Sounstream are their high end companies. Blah Blah Blah, I've heard it before, people saying "just because they make Power Acoustik everything is junk.". FALSE!! Do you know how much they make a year with PA? last year they made over 40 million on power acoustik, and only 7 million with Soundstream, and SS had more international sales than in the US. The only reason why they have PA is because it's the main money maker. Yes, they even admit that PA stuff is overatted, but it's targeted towards the people where the saying "ignorance is bliss" applies. Even then, PA STILL has better quality than pyle or boss, (with the overattings) I would love to see someone tell me to my face that they WOULDN'T do the same thing to make that much money. The human reign is sadly not being made anymore,..one of the best sq amps on the market and they're discontinuing them because people wouldn't put the money out for them It was one thing when they had a $3K price tag because of the caste face that it had, ti cost them alone, $650+ for each caste. Rubicons, the rubicon amps are actually the same amps as the Lil Wonder amps out now. Lil Wonder amps are only international and aren't really available in the states, and they were getting a demand for the amps because they were so good that they just changed around a few things cosmetically and dubbed it the new rubicon line because they lived up to the former name.
