SQ wise I kill his subs they are very sloppy compared to Alpine. AND FOR SPL my subs still hit harder. He's running his Hx2's on a USA1000 amp so its not the amp and its not the Box because he had it built by a Rockford dealer to exact specs. I'm running my type R off a USX800D. I have my box tuned to 33Hz so maybe thats why mine hits harder. Maybe its because his amp pulls so much power from his alternator and battery that its not putting out the wattage the amp can put out. I'm not really sure, but I do know a good sub when I hear it and Alpine does the job.</p></blockquote><p></p>
