I know it depends on how long the strand of wire is for how much the wire can carry but im about to instal a system in a friends car and was wondering what gauge of wire should we run.the car will never be running more than a 1000 watts rms.. soo it will be 600 for the sub and maybe in the future 400 for the speakers.
