If you want a really good deck...then I would suggest you go with Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, Panasonic, or Clarion...steer clear from Sony too(my worst investment ever=Sony CDX - M670:nono: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif ).
Well, my first deck was a cheap JVC. Sure it held up for a while, but then all of a sudden, well, it just stopped working after about 3 months.....I think it was just my deck, but I dont know. JVC is reliable MOST of the time, but from my bad experience I wouldnt reccomend the cheap decks, I think the "decent" JVC's start around what....$4-500+? If you want a really good deck...then I would suggest you go with Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, Panasonic, or Clarion...steer clear from Sony too(my worst investment ever=Sony CDX - M670:nono: ). But anyway, overall JVC makes, well, decent decks, but if you want reliablility and overall quality, go with the brands I listed above....IMO, I would never buy another JVC, but thats just me with an opinion from a bad experience.
