[QUOTE="g30ffr3y, post: 595336, member: 556438"] whenever i turn my HU to 20/40 my subs start to make this popping sound... i checked my wiring and all that good stuff... i tried playing my subs one at a time to see if one was blown or something... it does it to both woofers... today i took it to the local car audio shop to see if they could tell me whether it was the subs or the amp... as i was watching the setup make this popping... i caught the amps protection light light up super quick each time i would hear the popping... the shop told me it was probably the subs but i have an appointment monday morning for them to properly look into it... if the amp is going into protection every time there is a pop wouldnt that be the amp??? what could be causing the amp to do this??? thanks...
