Pioneer 980BT for me. 16 band graphic, time aligntment, built in blue tooth, ipod compatible, indepent crossovers for front, rear and sub, BBE, 5 volt output with low impedance. Im done with Alpine now. They de contented pretty much everything below the 9887 in their new line to force everybody to buy imprint rather than let them get too content with just a head unit. I consider it a borderline insult that they can't even do so much as a 5 or 7 band graphic or parametric on the 9886. I see little significant difference between any head units from the 9886 on down to the bottom of the line. Alpine: Here's your CD player with bass and treble controls, it costs $$$ to unlock this, $$$ to add that. Pioneer and Eclipse: Here's your head unit with everything you need built in and included in the price, if you don't like those options here's another HU available with a different set built in. Next after my Pio is an Eclipse.
