I need to find out what you folks recommend for EQs/Cross overs. My deck has some control.(SOny M70) but I have amps for subs 2 going to jbl 1200.1s and 1 going to a RF 300X for 2 8" woofers.

At what frequency does bass become directional? also at what a frequencies does stereo sound be come an issue?

I've personally owned two crossovers in the past four months. The first was a Lanzar Vibe X6 3-way crossover ($80 from local Lanzar retailer). Very effective, and the remote bass control is always a nice feature. The current crossover i'm using is a Fusion 3-in-one Line Driver, Crossover and EQ (i forget the model number), but it's very effective as well. i decided to upgrade simply because the built in line driver and EQ saved me from having to buy those components seperatly. The price of $110 for all three components in one tiny package definatly influienced my descision as well.

i run a clarion PEQ460 7 band EQ...it has built in 7 volt preouts, front output, rear output, and subwoofer output, as well as auxiliary input....very good EQ...

well, the pioneer dex-p9 and deq-p9 combination will give you everything you could possibly want

4way, independant, fully adjustable crossover with many points and slopes from -6dB/oct to 36dB/oct and gain control for each crossedover band

independant time alignment for each of the 8 outputs it has

31 band equalizer for each the left and right channels

another 12 or 16 band eq for tone adjustment (can't remember, but it has it)

only problem is that the combination is going to cost 1250ish online

If you want some bad ass eqs/crossovers check out audio control, they have the best IMO:D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I just got my new Memphis X-over. Its very nice. The settings are accurate. It also comes with a remote signal level control, which comes in handy. I havent got to hook it up in my truck yet, but i demoed it on the sound board at the shop, and i cant wait to hook it to the truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
