just bought a cheap "4 amp" microprocessor charger that basically said "yeah nope" to my northstar NSB AGM34 78 it was charging for an hour or two and then claimed to be done. I thought bulllllllll **** because resting voltage was 12.1 (on load, yes I know i'm an idiot for letting it get that low. I didn't know agm's build voltage on the terminals before and thought it was 50% depleted. wasn't testing under load.) reconnected charger, told me it was low as expected and then 30 minutes later claims it's done again. I'm looking at ctek 5.0, noco 5 amp, and some other options. please recommend me a charger that will work and not brick my battery please lmao. i'm sick and tired of false product claims. batter is 65AH. i'd like it to charge in 12 hours from 50% depletion. I'd appreciate reconditioning and desulfation as well.
