[QUOTE="JohnBlayz142, post: 2467939, member: 564752"] Another thing to keep in mind is that most of us here consider ourselves 'experts' or at least 'enthusiasts' regarding car audio. Telling me you give people no respect who don't know any better or have no desire for a quality oriented system is ridiculous. When I was 16 about 5 years ago I liked bass. I knew what loud, clear speakers sounded like, but it was loud bass I wanted because it was a new thing to me and made me happy. Shortly after installing the sub/amp, I added speakers and upgraded the mids/highs in the car because I realized I needed them. There was that period of time though with a 15 slamming and stock speakers 'keeping up' with that before I upgraded. Just because someone has bass and shitty speakers doesn't mean they should lose somebody's respect....that just sounds a bit elitist and rude, frankly. I look for opportunities to educate people and help them out with choosing system components...it's not hard to believe that the younger crowd is more focused on bass than a lot of us who have had several systems. /rant and not trying to come across as a dick.
