Message: <blockquote data-quote="Rmsanger" data-source="post: 591965" data-attributes="member: 544424"><p>Congrats to Bush and his cabinet, unfortunately my guy did not win.  The scariest part is that now the Senate, House of Representatives, and  the President are all controlled by the same party.  This means the Patriot Act won't be reformed, we probably will go to any war the President sees fit (cough-Iran-cough), and 2 to 3 U.S. Supreme Court Justices will be appointed as Republicans under the next 4 years.  Roe V Wade has a good chance of being overturned then and abortion will become illegal (possibly).  An anti gay marriage will probably added to the constitution.  The whole system of checks and balances is out of the window at this point.  Something that both Democrats and Republicans say is scary.</p></blockquote><p></p>
