I just spent about an hour at sound advice (really nice guys), and I heard 2 W6's in a ported box and played hardcore on them, was slightly disappointed, but I'm assuming its because it was in a ported box and not a sealed. So he took me to his car with a single 10" W7 in a sealed box and put my music on, and I'm assuming it was his settings on his amp, but it didnt sound too much different than my current subs. (yes, the shitty power acoustik) when I heard them, they didnt really give a punch, more of a hum. I want the subs for that extra kick of the bass drum. Hardcore has really rapid double bass in it sometimes, and I want soemthign that will be able to enunciate each kick. I'm guessing if i crossed them over correctly, it would sound exactly as Id want it. But would you say the W6's actually pack that punch im looking for?
