Vonage?

Does anyone here have vonage? I am looking at getting it for my dorm room as my cell phone service inside the room is terrible. This would only be a temporary thing untill I can work something out with my cell phone company or my contract is over. If anyone has it please let me know how well it works for you and any pros or cons of the service.
