Even if you're just looking at sound quality and ignoring the UI, features, etc...you can not look at a pair of head units and deduce that the one with 5V pre-outs has better sound quality than the one with 2V pre-outs. There are many, many factors that go into this, and many of those have a lot more to do with good sound quality than the pre-out voltage level.  You gotta listen...jds</blockquote>
