Message: <blockquote data-quote="maljr1980" data-source="post: 7307912" data-attributes="member: 632618"><p>It was around 2003ish i went from an alpine mrv752 v12 to a viper, not sure the model but 1000 or 1200 watts sounds right, cuz i went from 1 L5 solobaric 12 to 3 Memphis pr 12's wired to 2.66 ohms.  The amp was a total piece of crap and kept going into protect.  Worse amp i bought.  Took itbback to the shop and the owner said it was because u couldn't run 2.66, only 2 ohms or 4 ohms.  He was full of crap and didn't want to admit he sold me junk.  I wouldn't buy anything dei personally.  Maybe someone else has had a better experience</p></blockquote><p></p>
