Between the actual overtones and your ear/brain system filling in the rest, you can actually hear bass notes. I'm talking near-field on a bench, here. Zaph is stern on not using them to cross low due to the 3rd order hash around 1.5k but I don't find it offensive at all on a 6db slope.   This was a 50hz sine and I have no idea what power level. Not much, I'm sure. I just wanted to see what the mechanical capabilities were because I knew I would be using a gentle slope.</blockquote>
