Honestly, when I first got it, it was annoying. But after a day or two, you get used to it. Like the guy said in one of the reviews, his wife and he were able to watch movies on the computer it was on. I also watched DVD, played music, and video games with it in. It becomes background noise after a week of so. If you are really into overclocking, or if you just like to keep your computer cool, this fan will do it for you. Like I said, the two Thermaltakes I put in yesterday are quieter, but the Vantec still kept the case about 3 degrees cooler celcius. Plus, those two fans cost a total of $18 shipped, you can have this one for $12!
