[QUOTE="fasfocus00, post: 8314264, member: 576857"] when SMD put his price tag on his stuff, I did some research and it's a 40% mark up that he makes if he buys a 55 gallon drum from Solarez which is not far from him so he doesn't have to pay shipping cost. I have also noticed that Solarez has now started to not offer the 55 gallon drum option for purchase. there is a reason why SMD doesn't offer a 1 gallon container b/c it would eat into his markup having to get another size container and label. it works out to roughly $12 a quart plus cost of container, label, and person's time to partition. than he sells it for $30 plus shipping cost. i started using Solarez long before SMD put his on the market, I have not done a side by side comparison but they seem to be identical except for the fact that SMD's label says it cures in as fast a 1 minute while Solarez says it cures in 3 minutes. the only physical difference I see is that the Solarez is nearly crystal clear in color while the SMD has a yellowish tint (which you can add with no effect to product). I can see that adding a tint could slightly effect the cure time to be faster or slower. ultimately the choice for me came down to price. you get a 1 gallon container from Solarez for $60 shipped while SMD is over $100 shipped.
