Upgrading to new 6x9s and 4 inch speakers...Reccomandations?

Hey guys,

I'm needing to upgrade my speakers in my grand am. Ive currently got 2 kicker l7s on a cadence z7000 amp @ 1500rms. Ive done some research and found a few nice choices. Infinity Kappa 42.7i 2-ways for the doors @ 100 Total RMS @ 2 ohms and Kappa 692.7i for the deck @220 Total Rms @ 2 ohms. ...A couple of questions on them. First of all, are 2-way speakers the best to use all around? Would I have to buy a 4 channel amp that runs @ 2 ohms to power them, or would it be possible to buy a 2 channel or even mono amp that I could wire up to the speakers?
