Hi,..Recently regained my interest in car audio, and thought I'd post a few questions concerning upgrading my system. Background: Basic 2 amp system, Alpine MRV 50x4 RMS powering the front components andback "6x9"'s. Alpine MRV 75x2 RMS powering 2 10W0's in a sealed enclosure. Both amps and subs are roughly 8 yrs old Not especially happy with the bass lately, it just doesnt seem to be as loud, or as clean as it used to. It seemed to become much more noticeable when I upgraded my deck to the premier 760MP ( from an 8 yr old deck with 0.5 preout ). The front stage improved dramatically though I was planning on upgrading the subs, and was looking into 2 Alpine type R 10's in a sealed enclosure. Question is, will they be severly underpowered with my current amp? Mainly after sq by the way, but still want to get fairly loud occassionally. My current budget would allow for a new amp, with the needed power for the new subs. However, would this then mean I would need a new amp for the fronts and backs also?? Any advice or opions would be appreciated Thanx in advance
