Yeah, I could buy a single 12" box and try it out where the console is, but I'm probably going to plan on moving the seats forward 2" and doing what the guys did in that video. He said you have 4 and 1/2 cubic ft, and I'm getting the same truck he's using in the video, although it could be different but that's pretty much what we have to work with. He's doing two 12's but I would think a single 12 would work better for this situation...? I love almost all genres of music besides EDM, techno that kind of stuff but I don't like just insane car rattling bass, I just like it to be able to turn up as loud as the speakers and still feel it. Also, I noticed after playing music for about 15 minutes at a fairly loud volume, a burning smell and it was my 4 channel amp ( The Alpine) and there was a plastic bag over it but nothing else. The song was a super, super bassy song that a friend was playing and it was only bass. But sure enough it smelled burnt and kept running fine but I turned my car off and let it sit. This was only for a few minutes, the amp was really hot but the sub amp was just fine... Maybe it's time for that new NVX amp...?
