Have only used the DD on two of the HU's & the Alpine distorted at volume 14 out of max volume of 35 so if SQ might be an issue for you get a more high end unit. Not sure if that is my problem but just thought I'd give you that info. A JVC was one of my HU's before the Alpine but I didn't have a DD then but even with a Pioneer mvh-2300nex I'm finding distortion at v.25 out of a max of 40</p></blockquote><p></p>
