What ohm do you have it wired to? 1000 watts is kind of weak for a Type R 15" considering the punishment they can take. I'm putting 1200+ a piece on my 12" Type Rs when I get it all set up. They laughed at 800 a piece so i would think your 15 would laugh at 1000.
