Try to make the end of the port free of any obstructons outside of the enclosure. Try to leave a space away from any walls or windows in the car. I have a ten inch type r in my jeep my enclosure is a little smaller than what is recomended by Alpine and it hits nicely.(25.5*11*11)1728=1.79 ft^3You would still be OK.</blockquote>
