Ever since I installed my system, I've had my tweeters mounted on my dash, facing up at the windshield. I was never really happy with the way they sounded, and blamed the poor sound on the speakers themselves (MTX 6001). I just tried moving the tweeters to a new location, not even an inch away. I placed them on the A pillar, so that the tweeters are pointed towards each other, and the difference is night and day. Before they sounded dull and flat, now they sound more alive and the mid bass even sounds better. I really am surprised at how moving them such a small distance could result in such a increase in sound quality. The install defiantly is a VERY important part! Now I cant wait to get some new comps:D
