Turns on but no Sound

Well up till Saturday I had a completly stock system except for a Pioneer DEH3700MP

Deck. Upon my friends recomendation and help installing of a Alpine MRP F450 and Infinity Reference 6x8 2 ways, not the component ones, (model#6812CF) along with 6x9 Infinity 3ways(model# 9613I). Well I got everything installed and it worked the night of the install (Saturday) and Sunday perfectly. I wake up Monday morning and get ready to go to school and it doesnt work. The deck turns on and you can hear the CD Spinup but no sound.

So I talk to my friend and he takes the deck out and is looking at all the connects which seemed fine so we went to get a multimeter to check voltages and such and turn the deck on and it works, Although it is very crappy quality. So he has a Clarion Deck that he hooks up quick to see if the deck is the problem and it works great.

So I went and purchased a new Alpine CDA-9856 Deck. Well it worked great last night and this morning it doesnt, No sound but the deck turns on.

So is it the wiring or something with the amp or is it the deck?

Forgot to add that I have a remote start on my car from Codealarm, is that what is causing the problem??? Cause its the only thing I can think of unless it is the wiring or amp.

check all of your power/ground connections, fuse etc... if not, you can always change your deck every two days lol

Make sure your speakers are connected properly

take it to a shop and have them fix what you and your friend screwed up

Im pretty sure its the amp as its recieving power via the RCAs but no power is coming out to the speakers, so Im going to Bestbuy to exchange it for a new one.

My friend is a bestbuy installer so he knows he ****, for the most part.

Edit: all the connections are fine as the amp is recieving power (when the decks on) The remote power is hooked up and the fuse is fine. The speakers are hooked up right too.

Ask him if he knows how the THD % affects the sound...
