[QUOTE="Justinw303, post: 8110820, member: 561389"] I will be tuning a Phoenix Gold Xenon 400 watt 1-4 ohm mono amp using a multimeter. My sub setup will be two 8" 4 ohm DVC RE subs from RE Audio. Each sub will be wired in series, so that I am connecting two 8 ohm loads in each "channel", which I believe are wired in parallel for a final load of 4 ohm. So when I'm calculating the voltage I should see on the multimeter, measuring at one of the sub output channels, should I use the impedance of the sub (8 ohm) and the wattage I want to send it (200), or use the impedance that the amp will see (4 ohm) with the wattage(200)?
