Ok, I'm a newbie, sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i wasn't sure where to put it, so re-direct me if necessary. Anyway, problem is in a '99 Neon R/T. I have a JL 12w3 in a cheap sealed box in the trunk hooked up to a Bazooka EL500 amp and for the most part the thing does exactly what I want it to for an entirely used equipment setup. The only problem I have with it is the stupid trunk rattle. It is embarrassing if you ask me as you have a nice car and the tunes sound great, but then you have this stupid rattle that everyone can here on the outside of the car, but you can't hear on the inside. I've narrowed the rattle down to being the latch. Nothing else in the trunk rattles, if I grab the latch with my hand and hold it, it doesn't rattle. The part that rattles on the latch is the actual ring and the part that clips to it. I have no idea what to do with this. Any help would be appreciated. I had the setup in a '98 caravan (I know I know) for a while and it never rattled like this. Please help.
