I have a '98 Mustang. V6 Automatic with ABOUT 96K miles on it. I say about 'cause the odometer broke a while back and I've never fixed it... Currently I have a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB, a run of 2 AWG, and then the usual suspects. I kind of want to just take the subs / box / amp / HU out (replace it with a cheaper Hu and replace the door speakers with some cheap co-ax) and sell it. In Miami V6 Autos are listed on Craigslist for 3.5K. I figure I can put 3K OBO. With that, I'd probably buy some JDM car. Maybe an Acura Integra (2nd Gen) or a 240sx. Those run from 1.2K-2.5K. However, all the ones I find have 150+k miles... And I'm not even sure if it's worth it. ATM my car has this problem where it arbitrarily jerks a little but. Not much, but just enough to notice. No RPM sputter, no power loss. Just kind of a rock which stops if you give it more gas. I took a 500 mile road trip, and it didn't do it once... and I notice it doesn't do it over speeds of 45mph. It's... weird. However, I'm not sure if it'd be worth it to trade for a semi-decent car for a car that'll break down then I'm fcked. But I want a manual car... and the gas from my Bangstang is killing me. Cliffs: * I have a '98 V6 Automatic Mustang with about 96K miles * Only problem is that it jerks randomly below speeds of 45mph (Check engine lights on, it's reporting running lean on the passenger side and running rich on the driver's side. Cleaned my MAF and replaced my O2 sensors and the light's still on. So IDK) * Want to get a JDM I4, thinking G2 Integra or 240sx. * Wonder if it's worth it trading in a semi-reliable car for a new car.
