What I see is most of these young kids go out and buy a subwoofer and a amplifier and Whaa Laa they have a " system ". The only thing they care about is can all the other ppl around me here my bass going boom, boom, rattle and shake. Does'nt matter what it sounds like in the inside, it's what it sound like on the outside. They need the attention, to be noticed. Just hoping and praying that some other person or persons will look over at him and say, " dude bad azz system ". Then you know what happens after he accomplishes that right? Instant popularity, the cool dude with the killer sound system. Ah, thats funny as hell. Kids these days. A example: When selling my 2 12" Alpine Type X's. I went and met up with the guy (about 17 or 18 yr.old ) and told him all about the subs showed them to him, as I still had them hooked up so he could here them. I asked him are you ready to here them? Of course he said, hell yea. So I start up my trooper and unlock the passenger door and opened the door partially for him to get in. He closes the door and walks about 25ft from my ride as I am playing the music. He then goes further away 50ft and then about a 100 ft. I'm thinking what the hell is this dingle berry doing? Not once did he get inside of the vehicle. It was all about if those subs would be able to get loud enough to be heard from a distance. Not once did he ask how much power I had going to the subs or anything else for that matter. To end the story he told me he would give me $300.00 for the 2 Type X's in a custom built vented enclosure built to specs. I laughed, looked at him and laughed again. I think he got the picture. I still laugh when I think about that idiot. Later......
