[QUOTE="BOOMINGRANDPA, post: 8562223, member: 671921"] if u are using slot port that's give u just under 3 cf after wood so yeah that'd be about right depending on port width.. are u saying u gonna face sub up even with ported box? sometimes that works in trunk sometimes not, my grand prix does much better sub and port firing rear.. so u are u giving room in front of port? the 17" is deep and that's what u have now right? let me check port disp u may could go less deep.. unless u doing massive port or sub with huge magnet I think u can do 15" deep should give u 2.67 cf and if u do a 2.25" wide port 11.5" high would be 2.19 cf ad or so after port disp and an average sub disp.. should work for many subs, mine is 1/2 cf smaller than that so depending on sub requirements u could shave another 2" off the width too.. the sa is a nice sub the fu 750 is a beast too if u haven't looked at those and they cheap but may take longer to get.. I've even read some reviews off peeps saying they had a sa got a E and the E metered higher I guess the e is just easier to push.. like I said wish u could hear my little box., I may have to get mine metered just to tell peeps on here about it..
