Build me a stereo.

1996 Maxima.

AVH-P4000DVD headunit already in the car.

Everything else is currently factory.

I want good midbass upfront.

I want two amplifiers. One to run front stage, one for substage.

I want one 15 (that can keep up with speedmetal).

I want impact.

I want the budget kept at $850.

I already have Kicker flex wiring and dist. blocks and such... and there is a Stinger SP1000 under the hood.

Forgot to mention... The subwoofer can go either sealed or ported, but with my tastes in music, let's keep it towards something that isn't going to be stuck in one or the other. I want flexibility.

Again, something else I forgot... Please no monster amplifiers. I'm looking to keep total wattage somewhere close to a kilawatt.

Buy my Nine.5 and run active. Run an RL-p off the Nine.5 and call it a day.

1 amp > 2 amps FTMFW!... unless you reeeeeeeeeally wanna go big, like REALLY big.

Nice car BTW... was gonna get one but unfortunately, that didn't work out so well... I love those cars.

As much as I would LOVE to play around with the nine.5, I'm looking for a bit more flexibility.

thats a really good combination. have you heard a 9500 before? my friend has the 9500 12inch at around 700 watts and it flexes most panels of the car including the roof ,mirror and windshields etc. there really efficient subs that get loud and sound great with low power. the kicker kx1500 is a tough, reliable amp to use daily ive never heard of those amps burning out or having any problems on caraudio.com.

I'm looking for impact, but not THAT much impact. I just want good SQ, with just a little bit of L thrown in there.

And I heard 9500's years ago... But again, they were in setups designed to pound, and didn't play music well to me.

Sub-Currently 12"Kicker CVX, but replacing it with a 12" SI Mag, the new one. Which I recommend for your listening tastes and won't be big at all and will do well. Is a 12 though and you want a 15..................I am trying to sway your bish ass!

Autotek 750.1 on sub, Autotek 100.4 (Need to get) Have a clarion 75x4 100x2rms amp on my highs now, but going Autotek soon.

Cheap x-over, but you could use amps or go active I believe with that deck.

2 Kinetiks and all 0/1g hyperflex wiring into distro to 4g, big 3 done.

Mine was more than 850 and will be adding more to it, but you have alot.

You have the wiring already and looks like everything else.

I come up with 917, but I am sure if you built your box, you would be close to your budget and this system will kick ass! Mine does so far, but I have a lof of sound deadener, which i recommend, but that would put you close to 1g. Also I have the CVX, but once I get the Mag, my system will sound even more killer.

Is more SQ oriented, or will be.

I was tossing around the idea of the new mag... or even picking up a 15" Icon. I've heard/read great things... plus there is one for sale for $200 on here.
