Thinking about upgrading..

So I drive a volvo s40 (trunk car with not that much room) I can/do fold the seats down however.

Currently I have:

PlanetAudio VX2200D

Diamond Audio TDX 12"

2.5^3 @ 35hz

Pioneer Premier DEH-780Mp

Front Stage: Infinity Kappa 50.7 5.25

Rear: ****ty Alpines

Stinger 4GA all around

MA HK398

Stock electrical for now, I have a stinger spv-44 batt and a ton of 1/0 laying around so I'll be redoing everything in 1/0 (bit 3 etc)

I think something is wrong with my sub, gets real hot real fast, doesnt hit as hard as it used to...etc.

My amp does 1200 at 2 ohms (my sub is dual 4) and it does 2250 at 1, so I'm thinking of upgrading to a 12" that can take 2250 and get loud.

Problem is I don't really want to change anything out except the sub, meaning I want to keep the same enclosure (2.5 at 35) and amp. Money is kinda tight.

Depending on what I can sell my sub for, I'd say my budget is between 200 and 300 dollars.
