I used to fix video games at the mall when I was 18. Back then that was the only real video games you could play, and parents would just drop entire hordes of kids off at the game room to be babysitted by the electronics while they hide from their kids for a while somewhere else in the mall. Well my secondary job there was to give out change with one of those quarter dispenser deals on my belt right....well I alawys felt like a retard wearing one of those and never would, but when my manager was there I had to. So when parents came in with their horde of little funky kids, they'd lay down $20 at a time to dispense to the kids...so instead of going to a change machine they came to me. Everytime you pressed down on a lever on the quarter dispenser, 4 quarters came out. Well all you had to do is set one up with only .50 in it... So you motion your hands and release 4 dollars , and 50 cents in quarters. Now thats not alot of change, you're right. But you must understand the amount of parents that came in there and did that. By the end of the day I was over $50 in just quarters. And the kicker was when old grannies came to the gameroom and give their grandkids silver quarters, they make a distinct noise when thrown in with hundreds of regular quarters....so we'd just switch those out with normal quarters and save the silver ones. Also sometimes you got confederate dollars which were worth $$$$$ That and I made my ex-girlfriend always work my shifts....stupid b!tch. Redemption tickets are the biggest scam....so are fuzzy animals that you save up hundreds of thousands of little tickets for to trade in for an animal. You spend almost 20x more money then the item is worth. oh also, that spray stuff that removes gum from video games (called gumoff) .... I found if you fill regular birthday ballons with it the gas is super dense and makes it into the same general dynamics as a basketball....you can even dribble with it.
