the researchers had two 'mother monkeys' one was a metal frame, that they had put a nippl eon so it would feed the baby monkey, and the otehr gave no food, but was covered in terrycloth...
the researcher found taht when they scraed the moneky with amechanical dog or bear or something, the moneky went not to the one that provided it with the basicas of life, but to the one that was covered in terry cloth...
they concluded the monkey was seeking "intimate physical contact" or "cuddling" in times fo stress...
