I sold an xtant 3300x a while back.. Everything goes fine until I get an email from the buyer that the amp blew up on him and how disappointed he was.. He said it worked fine for about 3 days, then poof, the magic smoke all came out.. I told him that I used the amp for years, and so did the guy who I bought it from.. I told him that obviously it worked when I sold it to him and that I couldn't be responsible for what happened after that.. I suggested that he may have dropped a few strands of wire inside the amp while he was installing it, since this is a common problem and has happened before to xtant owners who strip their wires while installing the amp while the cover is off.. Either that, or he might have dropped a screw or something else metallic into the amp, all relating to his install.. A few days later, he sends me an email to admit that he may have indeed stripped the wires over the exposed amp and that may be what caused it.. Then he left me a positive feedback.. I was kinda sad to hear it blew since it was such a fine amp, but there's no substitute for paying attention when you're installing.. Anyways, the point I'm getting at is that I KNOW the condition of electronics before I sell them, and I never offer any sort of refunds because the install won't be done by me.. Simple as that.. So I make sure that all my listings state something along those lines to cover my butt.. But I'll offer all the help and advice I can.. I even told this guy to be careful when installing it since the cover will be off and the guts exposed.. He didn't listen, and now he has a $250 door stopper..
