I think I was also getting some reflections off the fiberglass, creating a slight problem with standing waves inside the enclosure.But, the XXX&#039;s were getting around 200rms per side @2ohms and the Ascendant Poly&#039;s were getting around 100rms per side @4ohms, and the Ascendants were every bit as loud volume wise. They&#039;re very efficient. I just think that they didn&#039;t mate as well with my MT15, the XXX&#039;s had a better low end. (I had the XXX&#039;s @80hz w/ a 18dB/oct slope...and I had to take the Ascendant Poly&#039;s up to 100hz w/ a 24dB/oct slope).I am VERY excited about the cabinets we are going to build for home stereo mains with the ascendant&#039;s though. I can build a proper sized enclosure, and treat the interior correctly.Whew.Meow. InG</blockquote>
